Introduction
In this article, we will explain step-by-step how to publish a product to Kaufland directly from your webshop dashboard. Before you begin, please ensure that your plugin is fully authorized. If you haven't linked your account yet, you can learn how to do so in our authorization guide.
The process consists of two parts: adding the required marketplace information to your product and then triggering the publication.
Prepare your product information
Before pushing a product live, you must enrich it with specific marketplace details so Kaufland can read and accept the data.
In your WordPress backend, navigate to your Product overview.
Click on the product you wish to edit to enter the product management screen.
Scroll down below the main editor to the Product Data section.
Click on the Kaufland tab in the left-hand menu.
You will see a number of option checkboxes. Click on these checkboxes to reveal the input fields, and fill them in completely.
Scroll back up to the Publish section on the right side and click Update to save your changes.
Publish the product to Kaufland
Now that your product contains the required information, you can use bulk actions to submit it to the marketplace.
Go back to your main WordPress Product overview.
Check the box next to the product (or multiple products) you are ready to publish.
Click on the Bulk Actions dropdown menu at the top of the table.
Select Kaufland: Publish from the list.
Click Apply.
Note: The product will now be sent to the marketplace for processing, which typically takes a few minutes. Once successful, the status column will display Published in green. If the status changes to Error, re-enter the product edit screen to review your fields and resolve the issue.
