In this article we will explain step by step how to publish an ad from WooCommerce to Marktplaats. First, make sure WooCommerce is authorized with Marktplaats, then run through this article first.
General settings
Before placing your ads, you can already configure some general settings such as Price Type, Salutation, Seller Name, etc. These settings can also be configured at product level.
In WordPress, go to WooCommerce -> Settings
Then tab Marktplaats
In the General Settings tab, you can configure a number of fields for the ads:
Price type
Salutation
Seller name
Show your email in the ad.
Shipping method
Ship
Shipping Cost
Shipping Time
Pickup
Shipping Pickup Location
Finally, click on Save changes
Footer description
Phone number
General website url
Pause your products when our of stock
Category mapping
You also need to link your webshop categories with those of Marktplaats.
In WordPress, go to WooCommerce -> Settings
Then tab Marktplaats
Click on the mini tab Category Mapping
Under the Marktplaats category heading, click on the dropdown menu and find the desired category
Repeat step 4 for your webshop category to be linked to Marktplaats
You can also configure the cost per click per category
Finally, click on Save changes
Publish an ad
The next step is to publish the ads, from the product overview.
In WordPress, go to the Products page
Select the products you want to advertise
Go to Bulk Actions and click on Marktplaats: publish.
Successful! The ads will be placed on Marktplaats.
