In this article, we'll explain how you can create and connect to stores in the Adyen plugin and account.

Create stores in your Adyen account

First, we begin by creating the stores in your Adyen account, before we can connect them to the plugin in WooCommerce. Please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Adyen account

  2. In your dashboard left side nav menu, navigate to In-person payments -> Stores

  3. In the upper-right corner, click on Add stores

  4. From there, configure the following options:

    1. Merchant account

    2. Country/Region

    3. Payment methods

  5. In the last step, click on Add store again. There you fill out more information, such as Store information (Country and address)

  6. Click on Update store

  7. Finally, for the last step, click on Submit request

Connect store in the Adyen plugin

Now that we have created the store in Adyen, we can connect it with the Adyen plugin in WooCommerce. To do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress backend

  2. Go to the Adyen plugin settings

  3. Click on the Stores tab

  4. From there, you need to configure the following options:

    1. Country Source (Define either the billing or shipping customer country to be used for identifying the corresponding store.)

      1. Billing country or,

      2. Shipping country

    2. Adyen store

    3. Customer Country
