About Adyen
What is Adyen?
Adyen is a global financial technology platform that consolidates the entire payment stack—gateway, risk management, and acquiring—into a single solution. Unlike traditional setups that require multiple vendors to process a single transaction, Adyen handles the process from the moment a customer clicks "buy" until the funds hit the merchant's bank account.
Before you start: create an Adyen test account
Before connecting the Woosa plugin to your live store, you must create an Adyen Test Account (CA). This account is free and provides access to the Adyen Customer Area, where you will manage your credentials and payment settings.
How to Sign Up
Navigate to the Adyen Test Account Signup page.
Fill in your business details.
Tip: Use a professional email address associated with your domain to speed up the automated verification.
Select your primary country and industry.
Once you submit, Adyen will send a confirmation email. Click the link to activate your account and set your password.
What’s inside the Test Account?
Once logged in, you will be in the Test Customer Area. Here is what you’ll need for the plugin configuration later:
Merchant Account Name: The unique identifier for your store.
API Credentials: The "key" that allows WooCommerce to talk to Adyen.
Webhooks: The system that tells your site "the payment was successful."
