Introduction
To authorize our plugin with your Kaufland account, you first need to generate your unique API credentials. In this article, we explain step-by-step where to create these keys in the Kaufland Dealer Portal and exactly where to enter them within your WordPress plugin settings.
Create your API Keys in Kaufland
Before configuring your plugin, you must retrieve your keys from your marketplace portal.
Make sure you are logged into your Kaufland seller account at the official dealer login page.
Click on Merchant account in the top navigation and choose Dealer portal.
Navigate to Shop Settings and click on API.
Click on the button Generate new API Keys.
โ ๏ธ Important: Your unique Client Key and Secret Key will now be generated and displayed. Make sure to copy and save them somewhere secure (like a private note) immediately. For security reasons, you cannot retrieve the Secret Key again after leaving this page; if lost, you will have to generate completely new API keys.
Authorize the plugin in WooCommerce
Now that you have your keys ready, you can paste them into your webshop to finalize the integration.
Log into your WordPress backend and go to WooCommerce > Settings.
Click on the Kaufland.de tab at the top.
Select the Authorization menu sub-header.
Paste the Client key and Secret key you copied from your Kaufland portal into their respective fields.
Click on the Authorize Now button to finalize the setup.
The plugin is now authorized, your store is securely connected, and you can begin publishing products directly to Kaufland!
