Include track and trace in emails

Keeping your customers informed about their shipment status improves the post-purchase experience and reduces support inquiries. Our plugin allows you to automatically attach DropXL tracking links to customer order emails.

Introduction

When VidaXL dispatches an order, a Track & Trace code is generated and synchronized back to your WooCommerce store. In this article, we explain how to enable the setting that automatically embeds these tracking details into the automated emails sent to your customers.

How to enable tracking links in customer emails

You can activate this feature directly within your plugin settings in just a few clicks:

  1. Log into your WordPress backend.

  2. Navigate to Woosa -> VidaXL

  3. Click on Synchronization and scroll to the General settings tab.

  4. Locate the checkbox labeled " Shipment tracking code via email" and check it. Now it's enabled for future orders.

Note: make sure to first disable the synchronization before you can edit the email setting.

Once enabled, whenever an order is marked as fulfilled and a Track & Trace code is retrieved from DropXL, the tracking link will automatically be included in the WooCommerce notification emails sent to your buyers.
