vidaXL product synchronization

Synchronizing your catalog keeps your WooCommerce store up to date with real-time stock levels, prices, and product details from DropXL. Understanding how product sync works allows you to manage imported inventory smoothly.

Introduction

The VidaXL WooCommerce plugin automatically synchronizes products between the supplier feed and your webshop. When prices or stock levels change in the DropXL feed, those changes are reflected on your website.

In this article, we explain how to initiate product synchronization and how to remove products

How to start product synchronization

Before launching the synchronization process, configure your import parameters to ensure a smooth sync:

  1. Set the Batch Limit: Log into your WordPress backend and go to Woosa > VidaXL > Synchronization.

  2. Configure Sync Preferences in the synchronization tab: Select your desired product filters, price margins, and preferences (such as setting new products as draft or removing supplier branding).

  3. Select Feed Language & Retrieve Categories: Select your preferred feed language and click Click to retrieve category list.

  4. Select Product Categories: Check the categories you want to import into your store.

  5. Start Synchronization: Click Start Synchronization to begin importing products into your WooCommerce catalog.

Note: Once synchronization is running, do not manually force stop the sync task, as this can prevent remaining products from being updated properly.

How to remove or hide products

If you no longer wish to sell certain products, you can either delete them entirely or hide them from your shop front-end.

Remove products by unchecking categories

Unselecting categories in your plugin settings permanently deletes all synchronized products under those categories from your store:

  1. Go to the Synchronization page within the plugin settings

  2. Click Stop Synchronization.

  3. Uncheck the category or sub-categories you want to remove from your webshop.

  4. Click Start Synchronization.

Note: Unchecking a category removes all previously synchronized products belonging to that category from WooCommerce.
