How do I synchronize products?

This article explains how to synchronize BigBuy products in your WooCommerce webshop.

Updated over a year ago

This article explains how to synchronize BigBuy products in your WooCommerce webshop and how to adjust product filters such as:

  • Price margins

  • Filter products by SKU

  • Exclude/include out-of-stock products

and many more.

Before we begin the plugin must be authorized with your BigBuy API key and activated with your Woosa license key. If you haven't done so already, please check out this article first.

Synchronize products

So to start synchronizing products in your shop with the BigBuy plugin, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress backend and navigate to the BigBuy plugin settings

  2. Then click on the Synchronization tab

  3. Select which feed language and click on Click to retrieve category list to bring up the list of selectable categories (this might take up some time, also refresh your browser page)

  4. Once the list of categories is visible, you can start selecting the desired categories

Product filters and more

If all desired categories are selected, we can move on to configure some product filters for your products. Underneath the category list, we've got the following tabs with configurable options:

  • General settings

    • Send orders

    • Preserver stock offset

    • Set products as draft

    • Track & trace on customer email

    • Trash unavailable products

    • Add product type in the title

    • Payment method (Select the payment method you want the supplier to use to charge your orders.)

  • Filters (Use filters to limit the products that should be retrieved and synced from the feed)

    • Min. B2B price

    • Max. B2B price

    • Out of stock

    • Backorder

  • Price (Choose how the price will be defined in your shop. Please note that in case there are products that do not have the selected price type available then it will be used the B2B price with the additional value you defined.)

    • Use as price

    • Addition percentage value to B2B price

    • Addition fixed value to B2B price

    • Rounding up

  • Tax (In case you do not have WooCommerce Tax enabled you have to define here the tax rate that will be used in the price calculation.)

    • Create tax class

  • Product information (Select what product information should be updated every time it changes in the feed.)

    • Stock amount

    • Price

    • Title

    • Description

    • Dimensions

    • Attributes

    • Categories

  • Shipping method (Select the shipping method you want BigBuy to use at delivery the orders.)

    • Use a predefined list (Using a predefined list of carriers means that the plugin will check which carrier has an available list of shipping options for the products that have been ordered by a customer. Once that carrier has been found then the cheapest option is used when the order is sent to BigBuy. That being said you may want to define your own priority (top to bottom) of the list below by drag and drop action.)

    • Use the cheapest option (This option instructs the plugin to check the entire list of carriers and pick up the cheapest option found based on the ordered products.)
