How do I synchronize products?

This article explains how to synchronize Van der Meer products in your WooCommerce webshop

This article explains how to synchronize Van der Meer products in your WooCommerce webshop and how to adjust product filters such as:

  • Price margins

  • Filter products by SKU

  • Exclude/include out of stock products

and many more.

Before we begin it's important that the plugin is authorized with your Van der Meer FTP credentials and activated with your Woosa license key. If you haven't done so already, please check out this article first.

Synchronize products

So to start synchronizing products in your shop with the Van der Meer plugin, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress backend and navigate to the Van der Meer plugin settings

  2. Then click on the Synchronization tab

  3. Select which feed language (for now Dutch is the only choice) and click on Click to retrieve category list to bring up the list of selectable categories (this might take up some time, also refresh your browser page)

  4. Once the list of categories is visible, you can now start selecting the desired categories

Product filters and more

If all desired categories are selected, we can move on to configure some product filters for your products. Underneath the category list, we've the following tabs with configurable options:

  • General settings

    • Send orders

    • Preserver stock offset

    • Set products as draft

    • Track & trace on customer email

    • Trash unavailable products

    • Add product type in the title


  • Filters (Use filters to limit the products that should be retrieved and synced from the feed)

    • Min. B2B price

    • Max. B2B price

    • Out of stock

    • Backorder


  • Price (Choose how the price will be defined in your shop. Please note that in case there are products which do not have the selected price type available then it will be used the B2B price with the addition value you defined.)

    • Use as price

    • Addition percentage value to B2B price

    • Addition fixed value to B2B price

    • Rounding up


  • Tax (In case you do not have WooCommerce Tax enabled you have to define here the tax rate that will be used in the price calculation.)

    • Create tax class


  • Product information (Select what product information should be updated everytime it changes in the feed.)

    • Stock amount

    • Price

    • Title

    • Description

    • Dimensions

    • Attributes

    • Categories
