During the onboarding process of Woosa Payments, a crucial step is to enable payment methods. In this phase, the payment methods need to be approved before you can enable them in the WooCommerce checkout.
Get accepted for payment methods
When going to your WordPress backend -> Woosa Payments -> Authorization tab and scroll down to the Payment Methods section, you will see two columns: Woosa Payments Configuration and Shop Configuration.
Woosa Payments Configuration
This determines, whether or not the payment methods is approved by Woosa Payments to be offered by your store.
NOTE: If this status is active, that doesn't automatically mean the payment method is enabled in the WooCommerce checkout.
Shop Configuration
This determines, whether or not the payment method is enabled in the WooCommerce checkout. When you click on the button Click to configure, you can enable the payment method in the WooCommerce checkout.
Besides, there are a couple of other settings available depending on the payment method:
Title | This is what visitors will see in the checkout. |
Description | This is what visitors will see in the checkout. |
Icon URL | Optional, if you want to show a different icon in the checkout. Otherwise, it will show the default one. |
Transaction fee label | If your charging a transaction fee, the title of that fee. |
Transaction fee amount | The transaction fee for this payment method in fixed amount or percentage. |
Allow installments | If applicable, you can the possibility to allow installments for this payment method. |
Installments number | The maximum number (in months) of installments. |
Require card holder name | Yes or no. |
Enable level 2/3D | For credit card payments only an extra security scheme for US transactions only. |
Enable payment methods in checkout
You can also go to your WordPress backend -> WooCommerce -> Settings -> Payments -> Click Woosa Payments and enable all desired payment methods.
