Introduction
Once you have authorized and configured the plugin's general settings, you can begin preparing your individual WooCommerce products for Marktplaats.
To access these fields, log into your WordPress backend, go to Products, select the product you wish to edit, and scroll down to the Product Data section. Here, click on the Marktplaats tab to customize how your ad will appear on the platform.
Product settings breakdown
The table below explains each available field on the Marktplaats tab:

Action | No action or Publish | Select Publish to place the advertisement for this product on Marktplaats. |
Price | Sell price | Specify the price you want to communicate to Marktplaats. |
Price Type | Fixed amount, For free, To be agreed upon, See description, Trade, At any reasonable offer, On demand, Reserved, Bid | Choose the pricing condition that applies to this ad. If choosing Bid, specify the Bieden from amount. |
Category | Main category & Sub-category | Select the corresponding Marktplaats categories for your product. |
Costs per click | Maximum cost per click (CPC) | Set your maximum ad budget per click. Available options depend on the selected category. |
Salutation | Men, Female, Family, Company | Choose how you want to be addressed in the ad. |
Sales name | Seller's name | The name displayed alongside your ad on Marktplaats. |
Postal code | Zip code (e.g., | Determines the physical location of the listing. Do not include spaces. |
Shipping type | Shipment or Collect | Specify whether the item is shipped or picked up in person. |
Shipping costs | Shipping fee amount | Enter the delivery costs associated with the order. |
Delivery time | Average delivery time | Set the expected delivery timeframe for the product. |
Publishing your products
Once you have filled out the required Marktplaats fields for your products, you can publish them directly using bulk actions:
Navigate to Products in your WordPress dashboard.
Select the checkbox next to the product(s) you are ready to push live.
Click on the Bulk Actions menu at the top of the list.
Select Marktplaats: Publish.
Click Apply.
