Introduction
In this article, we will walk you through the most frequent reasons why your bol.com orders are not importing into WooCommerce and explain how you can resolve each issue step-by-step.
1. The order is already processed in bol.com
The bol.com plugin is designed to only import orders into WooCommerce that have not been processed on the bol.com platform yet.
The Rule: In order to be successfully imported, the orders must still have the Open status in your bol.com seller account.
2. The plugin's background tasks are not working
It is possible that the plugin’s scheduled background action (bol_perform) is not being executed every minute. This causes delays or complete halts in the order import process.
The Solution: You can easily resolve this by enabling the Heartbeat option in the plugin settings. This creates a cron job on our external server that will ping your shop every minute, ensuring that your background tasks run reliably.
3. The "Import Orders" option is disabled
If the setting to fetch orders is turned off within your synchronization dashboard, the plugin will ignore new sales. Follow these steps to verify and enable this option:
Log in to your WordPress backend and navigate to the plugin settings.
Click on the Synchronization tab.
Click on the Orders header to expand the section.
Check the box to enable the option Import Orders.
Click Save Changes.
Note for FBB Sellers: If you are specifically missing FBB orders (Fulfilment by bol.com), make sure you also enable the option: Include FBB orders.
4. Server resources are too low
If your web hosting environment has low server resources, the plugin might get stuck while trying to process background imports.
How to check: Navigate to the plugin settings dashboard. If your resources are insufficient, a specific warning message will be displayed indicating which server values need to be increased by your hosting provider.
If you do not see any warning message, your server resources are working perfectly.
