How do I process a bol.com order in WooCommerce?

Once your bol.com account is connected, the next step is managing your incoming sales. Our plugin streamlines this by bringing your marketplace orders directly into your WordPress environment.

Introduction

The Woosa bol.com plugin automatically imports orders from bol.com into WooCommerce once every 10, 30 minutes or once per hour. This allows you to manage all your sales from a single dashboard. You can easily identify these transactions on the WooCommerce > Orders page, where the Bol filter will indicate which orders originated from the marketplace.

How to process a bol.com order

To fulfill a bol.com order and notify the customer that their package is on its way, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to WooCommerce > Orders in your WordPress sidebar.

  2. Click on the specific bol.com order you wish to handle.

  3. On the order details page, click the blue Process Order button.

  4. Select the items (products) that are ready to be shipped.

  5. Click on the button Check delivery options.

  6. Choose a carrier from the list (or select "Use own carrier" if you are not using bol.com shipping labels).

  7. Finally, click Register shipment.

Note: The order status will temporarily move to Processing. After a few minutes, once the synchronization with bol.com is complete, the status will automatically update to Registered.

How to cancel a bol.com order

If a customer requests a cancellation or an item is out of stock, you can process the cancellation directly from WooCommerce:

  1. Go to WooCommerce > Orders and select the relevant bol.com order.

  2. Click the Process Order button (the same button used for shipping).

  3. Select the items that need to be cancelled.

  4. Choose a Cancellation Reason from the dropdown menu (this is required by bol.com).

  5. Click the button Cancel selected items.

The order status will switch to Processing and eventually move to Canceled once bol.com has confirmed the request.

The order status first goes into Processing, then after a few minutes, it'll go to Canceled.
