What does this error mean?
When uploading products to Bol.com using the Woosa Bol.com for WooCommerce plugin, you may encounter the following error message:
Product Classification – The attribute is deprecated, please check the latest datamodel.
This means the plugin is working with an outdated version of the Bol.com data model. Bol.com regularly updates their data model, and deprecated attributes trigger this error.
Cause
The plugin stores the Bol.com data model locally in your WooCommerce settings. When Bol.com pushes an update to their data model, your local copy becomes outdated until you refresh it.
Solution: Refresh the data model
Follow these steps to fetch the latest data model:
1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. WooCommerce → Bol → Settings → Product ContentGo to
3. Click Save Settings. This triggers a fresh data model retrieval from Bol.com.
4. Try uploading the product again.
Tip: If saving the settings does not trigger a refresh, try clearing the cache via the cache management option in your plugin settings. This resolves the issue in most cases.
